Jim Kleinsmith "-jk" - I have been a
Western New York (it's not upstate) "technologist" for several
decades at this point but often have to remind myself there is more to life
than just the screens we dissolve ourselves into so often these days. I use the
term technologist, mostly because my professional experiences and interests are
just too broad to fit well under terms such as software engineer or network
engineer despite me having deep experience and demonstrated enterprise
leadership in both. I suppose worded differently, I enjoy wearing numerous and
varied hats in the technology realm often at the same time. To me, it makes as
much sense to utilize guitars that have onboard computers as it does having one
on your desk but, I don't always need a satellite uplink while I'm camping,
cutting down trees, or a fridge that can surf the web... yet... ;)
